Here is a list of some frequently asked questions, with the answers to them:

When did you start LocoKineGrindz.com?

I began this review blog in July 2007.

Why did you start this site?

I started this site to help share my dining experiences with others, in hopes that I could help them find great places to eat.

What qualifies you to be a food critic?

Honestly, I have no resume that would “qualify” me to be a food critic other than the fact that I have a tongue. I think that identifying great places to eat is something that anyone can do.

How does your “star rating” system work?

1 star = Poor
2 star = Below average
3 star = Average
4 star = Above Average
5 star = Excellent

Pretty straightforward actually!

Why are your reviews so long?
I believe that a good restaurant does not only have good food, but must have equally high levels of service and atmosphere. This means that my reviews comment on a wide variety of different aspects of the restaurant.

Can I request you to come down and review my restaurant?

Of course! Simply send me an email at [email protected]. I am more than happy to try new food and discover new exciting places to eat!

What camera do you use to take the pictures for this site?

I currently use a Canon Powershot SD630, a small camera ideal for candid photos. I find this ideal for taking pictures in the middle of a restaurant while still being discreet. I also take some photos with the built in camera on my iPhone.
